Whether you have access to fresh Dungeness Crab from the West Coast or Blue Crab from the Atlantic, making mouth-watering crab cakes just became a whole lot easier! Our Dungeness Bay Blend, formerly known as our Crab Cake Blend, is a perfectly proportioned all-natural combination of veggies, spices, and sea salt.
For crab cakes, just add to lump crab meat, bread crumbs, a beaten egg, and a little mayo. Chill for about an hour, then pan-fry in butter and olive oil until crisp and golden for a restaurant quality meal that will wow your friends and family!
And if you are wondering why the new name? We got to thinking that there are many more ways to add this spice to your kitchen repertoire. Toss with zucchini and olive oil, then saute until al dente. Or, bring butter to room temperature, then combine with this blend for a beautiful compound butter to use on halibut or chicken.
