Passing the torch...

They say that timing is everything, and when it comes to my Walden Lane journey, that couldn't ring more true. When I heard back in April that the current owner was retiring, my first thought was "Oh no! I won't be able to get my favorite Walden Lane products anymore!" My second thought was "Hmm...I wonder if the company is for sale?" As a die-hard customer for over a decade, and having just recently left a 20-year career in tech, I figured what the heck...what a perfect time to follow my passion. With a business background and a profound love of all things food, this was an ideal match! So, as of August 31, 2018, I am the incredibly lucky gal taking this company into the future.

Of course, I wouldn't have this opportunity without Ardell and Jill, the founders of Walden Lane Gourmet. I owe them an immense amount of gratitude for so many things, including their commitment to using only the best all natural ingredients, hours upon hours of recipe experimentation, their knack for combining unique and distinct gourmet flavors (can you say Umami Truffle Dust!), all while developing a brand that is beautiful to display in your kitchen.

Now, I do have a small request for all of you Walden Lane devotees, as well as those that are new to the Walden Lane family. I'm asking for just a tiny bit of patience while we get things up and running again. I know! It's hard to be without your favorite oil, vinegar, or spice blends, but hang in there with me while I build out my new commercial kitchen. I am so excited about getting these products back on the shelf as fast as possible, that I'm also building a temporary commercial kitchen in tandem with the long-term space. I will keep you posted on Instagram and Facebook and you can also sign up on our homepage to be notified of updates via email.

Thank you so much for your patience, and I can't wait to relaunch this culinary gem very soon!
